CoD Famous Villians being similar to Jojo's Villians, Dio and Pucci

 I have been going through the old games with Makarov and Menendez being the best CoD villains throughout the franchise. Then it clicked on me when I started comparing.

Makarov is reflective towards Dio. Their unlimited ambition, their means in obtaining it, their deception despite being obviously evil, their minions to serve their ambition, their seemingly charismatic voices, their plain evilness.

Makarov was a Soviet officer but had already committed war crimes against the Chechens. In Yuri flashback, he had shown fascination of power and his acquirement by being Zakhaev's executioner made him more megalomanic. He is a schemer who help start WW3, plot a coup and chemical bombings that will help the rise of Russia which he rule over, and the nuclear codes that he desire would allow him to eliminate his enemies and rule all.

Dio is similar as he covet the Joestar's inheritance but discovery of the Stone Mask purpose led him to a different path where he seek to obtain power by being a vampire conquerer. However it didn't work out by decide to conquer the world through different means, via Stand and fate where he utilized the Heaven Plan to force everyone to be a slave of fate except him with Made in Heaven stand (provided he found a way to get his mortal body or he is Made in Heaven).

Makarov is more of a planner and deceiver due to his grounded nature while Dio is more of a manipulator and a schemer for the supernatural nature but both share the evil ambition.

Meanwhile Menendez and Pucci are similar but also very different. Both of them have younger sisters they adore but they tragically died. While Menendez seek vengeance for his sister death, Pucci responded differently where he followed Dio will for the inner peace by knowing your fate.

Their similarities is their own preacher charisma where they able to attract followers and portray themselves as a holy person, they are master manipulators who have a plan to execute, and their schemes would result in a global chaos which Pucci is more universal. Also these characters also one (or two) steps ahead of their enemies and somewhat similar familial struggle with the Joestars or the Masons.

In conclusion, Makarov and Dio are very similar in their character while Menendez and Pucci are similar in their role in the story. I like to imagine that CoD writers probably copy some elements from Jojo.
