  9. Individual Contributor
    1. Senior - First Sergeant

The Digital and Talent team focused more on procuring digital related products and talent resources for the bp company team. It has 3 subteams: Lean, Business Support, and Mobility.

Lean team

The Lean means that it deals with procurement goods & services fast track for a smooth process. This meant that the contract is established and the vendors underwent Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD)

Most of the suppliers BP faced, at least in Lean, are UK, USA and Germany originated or branch, this includes India, Netherlands and Canada. The top suppliers are Accenture, Computacenter, Dell, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, Software One, Diebold Nixdorf, Intergraph, Ernst & Young, HP, IBM, DXC

The products lean team have to handle are software, hardware, platform services, App Development (AD) + App Maintenance (AM), Communications, Business Consultancy and more. Since its reorganization around February 2025, the D&T Lean team includes Reservoir Development & Technologies (RD&T) which handles the research goods & services such as research membership subscription and chemical services.

The main software used for the Lean business is SAP Ariba, Compass and Fairmarkit. SAP Ariba is where most of the Purchasing Requisition cases are handled along with the contracts that handled the budget.

S2C (Sourcing to Contracting) is a fast track and practical procurement process. This is going from creating requisition order, handing off and creating Purchase Order (PO, another form of contract). It falls under the P2P (Procure to Pay) process which includes operational procurement (Finance, Delivery and Review).
